All boys and girls of Holy Trinity Parish ages 9 to 14 are invited to participate in the Council level of competition for the 2022 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship.The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions.WHERE: Holy Trinity School HallWHEN: Monday January 17, 2022TIME: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PMBoys & Girls ages 9, 10, 11: 1:30 PMBoys & Girls ages 12, 13, 14: 2:30 PMCompetition Details:- Each player receives 3 warm-ups followed by 15 consecutive free throws- Ages 9, 10, 11 Boys & Girls: Use a women's regulation-size ball @ the 12-foot line- Ages 12, 13, 14 Girls: Use a women's regulation-size ball @ the 15-foot line- Ages 12, 13, 14 Boys: Use a men's regulation-size ball @ the 15-foot lineProof of Age (as of 1/1/2022) Required.* Please email [email protected] to register for this event. Limited walk-up registration will take place on the day of the event.**There is no registration fee for this event, however, entrants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Holy Trinity Food Pantry.*** Masks must be worn by all competitors and spectators, consistent with Holy Trinity School health and safety protocols.Awards will be given to each age and gender champion.The 2021 Council, District, and Regional Champions will be recognized at 2:30.Parents, please bring the score sheet and signed consent form found HERE .
