Each year at the Pennsylvania State Convention, the State Knights of Columbus award Faith in Action Awards in the following categories of Community, Life, Faith and Family. Each category is broken down into divisions defined by Council membership. Programs must be organized by the council or involve significant participation by council members to qualify. Programs must also engage members by enhancing faith and spirituality, serving a charitable purpose, or a combination of the two. Program descriptions should reference how they meet these criteria. Along with the description of the program, provide the program's purpose, goals, accomplishments and why it deserves to win the award.

Through this program, council and parish families will raise funds to support seminarians in their area. For every $500 given to an individual, the Supreme Council will refund the council or assembly $100. The maximum refund a council or assembly can receive is $400 per individual supported. Though financial support is vitally important, it is not the only aspect of the RSVP. Councils are also called to provide their “adopted” seminarian or religious aspirant with moral support and prayers for their success.
